Bonfire Marketing is a digital marketing company in Portland, Oregon. I began as a copywriter and moved up through the editorial department to editor and chief editor. Now as Bonfire's editorial director, I supervise a department of six writers and editors, guide messaging strategy for over 30 clients, and oversee new client and employee onboarding. I also develop, pitch, and update editorial department and brand processes and styles guides.

This non-fiction publisher worked alongside authors to create books from start to finish, providing professional editing, design, and marketing support. As an associate editor, I looked for prospective authors at any stage of writing, and helped mold and improve their manuscripts.

I believe in this quarterly's mission to pay its writers. The Tishman publishes poetry, short fiction, nonfiction, book reviews, and art. My responsibilities included copyediting, book reviews, and finalizing poetry for publication. Here's the current issue.
