In a time of steep housing prices and rising houselessness, OneApp Oregon was created to lower the barriers to affordable, equitable housing in the Portland metro area. Their goal was to help property managers fill long-term vacancies with low-income renters in need with a fair, transparent, and scalable application model.

Before creating their website, they asked Bonfire to create a brand style guide, inclusive of a mission statement, values, messaging guidelines, logo, and design system. The resulting style guide took a human-centric, story-driven approach to an all-to-often transactional relationship and helped them gain traction with renters and property managers alike.
